Oxford-educated John Mullin taught high school English for twenty-seven years. Early in life he developed a love for books and storytelling. Mullin recalls that he was always drawn to stories, whether historical or fictional. Two years after returning to the United States in 1971 he began teaching. Education, Mullin observes, is a conversation about life, its best traditions and possibilities.
